These songs are consequences of recent events in my life. The departure of my last living grandparent and loving aunt had naturally shaped my mood during the past year or so. Similarly, the increase of governmental policies which do force women to a less than human condition, must be counterpointed by us all. In an insignificant way though, this album of mine is a tribute to women’s bravery and constant struggle for equality. Dedicated to Rosalina (RIP) and to my wife and rock Eda Machado.
